Guest Speaker

Ewelina Warner graduated form the University of Wroclaw (Poland) with a degree in Polish Language and Literature in 2001; her particular emphasis of study lay in theatre, and Czech literature and culture.

In 2004 she was awarded a scholarship by the Polish Ministry of Education which allowed her to study for a Master of Philosophy at Glasgow University; during this time she also taught at Glasgow University’s School of Modern Languages and Cultures and conducted independent research. She has completed and submitted her PhD dissertation on “Postmodernism and Humorous Hoaxes in European Post-Communist Countries” to the Wroclaw University.
