Inti Guerrero

Guest Speaker - TrAIN Open

Inti Guerrero is an Amsterdam based art critic and curator born in Bogotá, Colombia. He has published in Afterall (London), Ramona (Buenos Aires) and ArtNexus (Bogota). Amongst his most recent curatorial projects are: ‘Duet for Cannibals’ at the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam; ‘Flying Down to Earth’ at both MARCO in Vigo and FRAC Lorraine in Metz; and ‘The City of the Naked Man/A cidade do homem nu’ at the Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo.

He attended De Appel’s Curatorial Program and fulfilled studies on ‘History and Theory of Art & Architecture’ and ‘General History’ at both Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia and Universidade de São Paulo in Brazil. He is a former Curator-in-Residence of Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin and of Capacete Entretenimentos in Rio de Janeiro. Currently he is a researcher at the Amsterdam based curatorial platform ‘If I can’t dance, I don’t want to be part of your revolution’ and a visiting professor at Rietvield Academy’s Studium Generale.
